Welcome!
Welcome to my new blog!
I've started doing some baking again and I've gotten my home kitchen licensed so that I can sell my baked goods! I'm calling myself:
The Muffin Bear
J&B Atlantic (on Main St. in Ellsworth, ME) will now be carrying a few items and I am always happy to fulfill any special orders wanted!
Just call me or email me (207)939-4433 mlare@me.com
Soon to come……
I'll put up a price list soon that lists the most requested stuff…(My carrot cake, cinnamon buns and chocolate chip cookies usually!).
I want to get an image gallery back on my site so that all of the delicious treats I make can be seen, but I will at least make sure to post things on here as often as possible.
Here are a few images of some recent baked goods…..

These are Apple Butter Sticky Buns that I made for J&B Atlantic last week.
I picked the apples at Johnston's Orchard and made the apple butter (12 amazing smelling hours in my crockpot). I then used it to create a filling and glaze for the tops of these babies.
This is a chicken pie. There is nothing better in the Fall and winter than a warm, flaky pie crust full of meat and veggies…..Or anything else really…..pie is good.
This is a miniature apple pie. (It sits on a normal potholder….so you can see it's small and adorable!) I have a dozen of these little dishes and can make tiny pies of any variety.
